Annoying Songs

In my humble opinion, the two shittiest and most sickening songs receiving regular airplay at the present time are Stays in Mexico and Here for the Party. Destiny's child's Lose My Breath is vying for that territory, as well as the new eminem even though I haven't even heard it. You just know that anything by Eminem is going to be pure shit and annoy the life out of everyone!

Alex, you're totally right about Metallica but, hey, Meatloaf man :) you got to appreciate the guy's lyrical talent .. at least in the "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" .. after the "will you love me forever part" when he says "I promise to love you till the end of time" and then "and now I'm praying for the end of time, so I can end my time with you" .. it cracks me up every time, especially because my parents (who are certainly no native speakers of English) still think this is a happy love song and I feel no need to correct them, just makes me grin. As for annoying songs "Gheto Superstar" and almost anything by Biance and 50 Cent will do for me, I have a secret )or not so secret) affection for Britney and I know it's sick and I should be shot <grin> but I just can't help it.

I could go on and on forever about chart music, but I know that for one, Linkin Park is really annoying! They love to take a keyboard, program one thing into it, and loop it all to hell throughout their song, especially that new one "Breaking the Habit" sounds more like "Breaking the Synthesiser"! That new rap guy Chingy is annoying, and her can't speak real English! "urbody inna club right thur, anna like it when ya let down yer her"?! Blergh! Now, just when I thought Metal would be a safe-haven, anyone ever heard Crapsody... oops, I mean Rhapsody? Especially that "Power of the Ring" song. "For the glory of the king and the power of the ring and we represent the guild of the munchkins who can't sing!" I call Luca Turelli Puke A Tur Smelly because he just royally sucks! I bet there's a plug in the back of his neck that if someone pulled it, all the air would come pouring out and his very being would shrivel up like a raisin.

Couldn't agree more on Linkin Park's new song and Chingy. I despise Eminem too. And Shania Twain is another bad one!

I like Linkin Park, but am not a fan of rap. See I can't understand the lyrics, but are they annoying as well? John

Wildebrew

i think you will find thats the verbose talent of Jim Steinman and thats what annoys me about ML,
he seems incapable of creating any decent work without that lyrical magician standing over him.

Take Welcome to the Neighbourhood no here please take it...

The album bombed and the reason....ML tried and failed miserably to emulate Steinman,in a way he couldnt hope to achieve.

Well you can add boodilicious to the mix as well, and also ice ice baby to the mix as well, because edge of seventeen and under pressure were great songs before they got messed with.

Any song that's been sampled and ruined is annoying, like Puff Daddy's "Come With Me", the butchering of Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir"

Oh yeah i hate Brittney too. She cant sing for shit. Metallica your also right on, thats the one metal band I despise. All their songs are like 15 minutes long! Linkin Park is awesome, but Breaking the Habit definitely isn't one of my favorites by them. Its just not them. Another terrible song is In Da Club by 50 Cent, god that song makes me wanna hurl. Lets see...i also hate that gay song Come Sail Away by Styx, that song sucks.

Hmm, I always liked "Breaking the Habit" (Baking the Rabit), hey at least it's not that usual, quiet verse, lame rap, scream the chorus as loud as you can, formula .. they are, in fact, breaking the habit on this song. Their rapper is lame but, boy, Mike can sing/scream better than most nu-metal guys out there. New Metallica (after, and including Load) are just simply old guys who have ost it and are desperately, and without much success, trying to be cool and respected. Somehow they haven't realized music has moved on. Anything by Shania Twane btw is horrible, also Celine Dion .. her entire catalogue makes me want to do some very unspeakable things.
